Lingo Radio is a free app for listening to live radio stations from around the world. Its subtitles and translations are produced entirely on your device. Your audio never leaves your phone, and we do not run ads or track you across apps.
Live captions and translations are generated by speech-recognition and translation models that run locally on your device. The audio stream is not recorded, uploaded, or stored by us, and the app does not request microphone permission. Recordings you create are saved only in your phone's own storage.
Location is used only when you tap Use my location to find stations near you. In that case your latitude, longitude and a search radius are sent with that single request to our catalogue server so it can return nearby stations. We do not associate this with your identity, and we do not keep a location history. The app works without granting this permission.
Searching, browsing and playing stations sends ordinary requests to our catalogue server (station names, filters, and an anonymous play counter). These requests contain no account identifier unless you are signed in.
You can use the whole app without an account. If you choose to register in order to sync your favourites and listening history across devices, we store your email address, a securely hashed password, and the favourites/history you sync. Signing out stops syncing; see §7 to have this data deleted.
Favourites, listening history, recordings and the downloaded caption/translation models are stored locally on your phone and are removed when you uninstall the app.
No microphone permission is requested.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
You can delete local data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. To delete an account and its synced favourites/history, email us at the address below and we will remove it.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.

只有当你点击“使用我的位置”查找附近电台时才会读取位置。此时经纬度与搜索半径会随 该次请求发送到我们的电台目录服务器，用于返回附近电台列表。我们不会将其与你的身份 关联，也不会保存位置历史。不授权该权限，应用依然可以正常使用。
搜索、浏览和播放电台会向我们的目录服务器发送普通请求（电台名称、筛选条件，以及 匿名的播放计数）。除非你已登录，这些请求不包含任何账号标识。
不注册账号也能使用完整功能。如果你选择注册账号以便在多台设备间同步收藏与收听历史， 我们会保存你的邮箱地址、经过安全哈希处理的密码，以及你同步的收藏/历史数据。退出登录 即停止同步；如需删除这些数据请见第 7 条。
收藏、收听历史、录音文件以及下载的字幕/翻译模型都保存在你的手机本地，卸载应用即会清除。
不申请麦克风权限。
本应用不面向 13 岁以下儿童，我们也不会在知情的情况下收集其个人信息。
清除应用数据或卸载应用即可删除本地数据。如需删除账号及其同步的收藏/历史数据， 请发送邮件到下方地址，我们会予以删除。
本政策如有变更，我们会更新页面顶部的日期。更新后继续使用应用即表示接受修订后的政策。
